#1: LIKE THE DAYS OF NOAH
At the end of these last days, the world is full of sin. The wickedness of man is great and every intent of the thoughts of his heart is evil continually like in the days of Noah. The Holy Spirit is so grieved that the time is coming that He will no longer be able to endure the wickedness of man. Then, He will stop striving to convict man and will leave the earth. As soon as He leaves, God's judgment will come to the earth. It is like in the days of Noah (Genesis 6:3,5-6).
#2: THE HARDENING OF THE HEART
The end of the last days is the time of darkness and deep darkness (Isaiah 60:2). It is like the night time. Men will be spiritually asleep and drunk with the pleasures of sin. The apostle Paul wrote, "For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night." (1 Thessalonians 5:7) They do not realize that the pleasure of sin hardens the heart (Hebrews 3:13). When a man's heart is hardened, he will sin willfully and will not repent.
#3: THE FALLING AWAY OF THE CHURCH
At the end of the last days the church is falling away. Like the children of Israel in the wilderness who were rebellious and disobedient to God because of their unbelief, many believers nowadays are rebellious and disobedient to God because they have departed from the faith. They are going back to the world like the children of Israel who tried to go back to Egypt.
#4: THE WARNING
Beware brethren, keep your heart with all diligence and exhort one another daily, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin (Proverbs 4:23; Hebrews 3:12-13). Awake to righteousness, and do not sin (1 Corinthians 15:34).
“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling,
And to present you faultless
Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
To God our Savior,
Who alone is wise,
Be glory and majesty,
Dominion and power,
Both now and forever.
Amen.”
(Jude 1:24-25)
